You know Im not an Obama supporter, but what is wrong with this?
If I were campaigning, I would rather only have friendly reporters on my campaign plane. They are more likely to see or hear things I dont want in the media. It saddens me every time a newspaper or other "News" source endorses a candidate. I guess it seems like it would be contrary to an impartial reporting of the news. |

You can be sure if Obama wins his press secretary will be taught his favorite reply (um). :-?
All's fair in love and war. McCane is no better when it comes to this topic ether. :) If it was your plane you would reserve the right to pick also! It's a non issue to me. ;D |

Yeah, I don't see a problem with it either, if they aren't supporting him, then why are they with him? The only way this story should have made the news is if he'd kicked them off the plane while it was in flight.

From that same article:
"Obama's not the only candidate to play hardball with the press. McCain's campaign has reportedly barred columnists Joe Klein and Maureen Dowd, who have been critical of the Republican candidate, from its campaign plane." Doesn't mention if he kicked other papers off too, they're probably just not whining about it and trying to make a story out of it. That's the problem with endorsing candidates (and the parties) (whether it's announced or not), you only see the one side of the story and try to spin whatever you can to make them look bad but ignore or downplay what makes your candidate look bad. Personally, though, if I really needed the seats, I'd start by kicking the guys that endorsed the other guy too. |

My comment wasn't that it wrong they kicked them off...
I thought their excuse for it was laughable. Jet and Essence? "Obama says "Oh, they'll try to scare you and say '...and by the way, did you notice he was Black?'" Jet? Jet is not about Jets. It's about being jet black. It's Obama playing the race card AGAIN. Same with Essence. |

That action might make me switch sides depending on which "reporters" he booted. :D |

Something fishy about this story.
