Punkin Soup
An inch of water in a saucepan with far too much chopped onion and garlic - cover and high-simmer for 20mins. Fill to top with chunks of peeled punkin, cover and high-simmer for 20mins. Whip briefly until smooth then add salt, pepper, powdered chicken-stock and lashings of roughly-cut bacon. Bring back to simmer and start adding cream. One hour, start to finish. |

It is going to be a beautiful night for ghosts and goblins! It is 75% here right now so tonight should be great!
I have one that will trick or treat. She is ten and is going as the Queen of Hearts. Daddy says that it is to "provocative" but I think that it looks darling. He'd have her go as a nun if he had his way! I got a new camera for my B-day so I'll try to post her pics. ( if I can figure it out) Have fun and be safe! Jeannie Mel, the Google logo is great! |

Pegg, send them here ;D
There is a teen age dance at the new, this year, High School just up the road. I have a feeling the excitement is about to come. I am staying up late tonight. Thank goodness for extra police presence on this main road tonight. I just want them to have a great and safe night. The stars are out and not too cold. Fun thread. 8-) |

I'm glad it's over for the night now. There is just enough left that when Dyl gets home from working at the Haunted Mill, scaring the people out of their skins, he can get a good sugar rush.

Best 2 costumes coming to my door (outside of my pirate trio) were a Clothes Dryer and a spaghetti dinner (table, silverware, candles....... it was amazing)
Best group was a bunch of kids like 2-4 years old dressed up like the cast from Grease...... it was awesome |
