As most of you know,  DJ has another rare condition called Moyamoya.

He has been in the care of great Doctors at Stanford,  in Ca. from the start.   He is having his last check-up there,  all this week and of course he's gonna be just fine.   (crossing fingers)


Jim and I are driving down to meet up with them this week-end and go sight-seeing and have dinner (in-n-out burgers)  and take a tour of the Winchester Mystery house near-by.  I get to hold that dear little Brandon and I can't wait....


I will post pics on calouch, &  I will provide a link when I get back if anyone is interested in seeing Zip, Mrs. Zip and junior Zip.


    I want everyone here to cross their fingers, say a prayer or send good thoughts to the person who has:

allowed us to be who we are, share stories and information, save lives, make life-long friends, fight, argue, make-up, promote a world-wide proliferation of associations for sufferers....and just generally let us bitch and complain about a variety of social/ecomonical/political/religious topics.

Did I Mention I get to snuggle with Brandon?   oh yeah I did.  sorry.  ;)

Thank you all for the well wishes!  Things have gone good so far, DJ just left for the hospital, Xenon test (he LOVES this one because of the Xenon gas) and Cerebral Angiogram (this one, not so much fun).

We really won't know anything (all the testing results) until we see Dr. Steinberg on Monday.  I will keep you posted.

We're hoping to see that little blonde lady this evening, but most definately tomorrow for The Wincester House and dinner.

We'll post pics as soon as we can!

Well, DJ had a 10 hour day today at Stanford.  His angio went well, they put a Star Closure (a stitch) in the artery, so he only had to lay there flat, not moving for three hours instead of 6-8!

He was preety doped up but said he remembers the doctors saying his collateral vessels look good.  I'm anxious to hear the info from the neurologist on Monday.

Again, thanks for the well wishes.  You all have blessed our family by lifting us up in your thoughts.

Linda and Jim made it into town, however we weren't able to get with them tonight, DJ was ready to lay down and crash at 7pm!!  (Lightweight)  ::)  lol  We will be spending the day tomorrow together.  Hugs and kisses from all to all!!

We had a wondeful day, we went to The Winchester Mystery House.  She was a crazy lady, (NOT LINDA) ....geez Chuck, but I have to say the house, even though unusual, was gorgeous.  (i'm sure even better in it's prime)  We are headed to dinner at Frankie, Johnnie's and Luigi's too (italian...duh).  Our child refused to sleep today, THIS SHOULD BE FUN!!!  Linda, Jim, I apologize in advance!!  lol

They look fabulous as ever, and yes I will keep the troublemakers in line!!!

We had a wonderful time even though it was short.  The Italian restaurant was Soooo Italian, I expected to see a few God-Fathers" around.  Brandon was a joy and he fell asleep in his high-chair with his head on the table.   LOL
