Pardon me for being a proud Dad, but I just had to post this pic of my son Rob with his fiancee Leah as they were going to the Marine Ball.  He is a very sharp kid, and I couldn't be prouder!

According to the Major he worked with and drove for in Iraq he did a great job over there.  He gave him a great write up, and he and a couple of others want to recommend/sponsor him for OCS.  I hope he will take it this time.  He turned it down last year so that he could ship over to Iraq with his unit.

Awwww, Jerry.  John and I are bursting with pride over your son so go ahead and brag, gloat and be very proud of Rob all you want to.  It's understood.....sheesh, we are sitting here with tears in our eyes so I can only imagine how you are feeling.

Oh he looks so great and handsome in his dress blues.  I am glad to hear that he got to go to the ball this year. Chris was going to three different locations for the Marine Corps Birthday ball this year.  He is in on the cake ceromony.  I guess you have to be trained for that or nominated or sometihng.  anyway he volunteered for one and got hoodwinked into doing three.   Just joking.  He loves to help out in situations like this.  Tell Rob I said hello and seimper fi.
