Yes...
The sky has been spitting those white flakes on and off here all day. Guess it's actually that time of year after all. :-/ |

Ya'll could move to our house. The precipitation comes down liquid though. (if it ever froze up and came down in the same amounts we would be in deep s**w ;)

Sure, but the trouble is that Finland is one of those countries in which winter and snow seems to last about six months... ;D Keep that in mind and you're more than welcome! :) I'll give you a crah course in Finnish any time! ;)

Jen....you can rent my house in California. I'm moving to Kentucky next year.
We don't know what snow is here. Just ask Guiseppi. He travels to Davenport, Iowa in late January with nothing but a jeans jacket. |

Holy crap Barry. We didn't get much more here today, just a few flurries.
Linda, that is a very tempting offer. After living here all of my 33 years I'm sick of the snow. I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to drive in it. I hate driving in the snow. I would love warm all year long. I could have a nice golden glow all year without having to go lay in one of those tanning beds. |

On Friday, I was running around in shirtsleeves. Today I was wearing my snow togs. It's dropping below freezing tonight and everyone is just guessing on the snow. Lake-effect snow here in November would be a little early but so far only 3 inches.

No snow here. Really didn't appear that you had enough to bury an gophers ass, but I bet it's on the way. Did you get your snowblower tuned up? Mine is - he had a sports physical a couple of months ago. Plus I bought him a new left handed shovel. I'm good to go.
Good luck this winter. It has the makings for a very very long one. |

No not enought snow yet to bury a gopher's ass, but I know it's coming ;D
Our snowblower is older than dirt. It was my grandparents snowblower and they gave it to us when they moved into their condo. I like to shovel the deck and the walk way, even though I hate the snow. Go figure. My dad and Phil's dad both have plows on their trucks and they stop by and plow us out. Phil's parents only live about 2 miles down the road from us. On the occasions that my dad comes and plows he plows a 90 lane highway through my yard tearing up the grass as he goes ;D At least it's less grass to mow come springtime ;D |
