Every once in a while my wife reminds me of how luck I am she decided to marry me.  Andrea’s (my wife) niece Danielle is pregnant with twins.  She has an 18 month old girl Riley who Andrea sits for during the week.  Love that little girl.

Danielle and Chad will need a lot to care for those two babies.  They’re a young couple and have limited resources.  No one was really stepping forward to do something.  This included her own Mom, my wife’s sister.  So, not being one to sit around and do nothing, Andrea took it upon herself to throw something together.

The “sprinkle” went off without a hitch.  Danielle was completely surprised and took home a lot of stuff that will help her when the time comes.

After 28 years together I find my love for this woman grows each day.  Not just for the smile she puts on my face, but for the forest of smiles she cultivates around her every day.

Now that the guests have gone home full and happy, the food’s been put away and the dishes are all done (yes I helped) I’m sitting at the computer while she naps on the couch with our Emma perched happily on her lap.  Words can’t describe how beautiful she looks tonight.
