Haven't been here is a while. Took on a promotion and new responsibilities at work and have been very busy.

Have been to my Doctor and he has helped me out a great deal with a few problems I have been having.

   Hey Dave, long time no see dude.

Been a while Kirk. New job responsibilities really have me busy. I have to set up a Q.A. program as well as continue to build projects. As soon as we get busy again, I will be getting away from so much building. Have ran projects for 20 years now and quite frankly...I wont miss it a bit. Body is getting old & beat up.

 My son is coming up fast and I expect he will begin to take jobs from prints, make cut lists and build the jobs.  He has a lot to learn, but is very sharp and a hell of a lot better builder than I was when I was his age.

I couldn't be happier by the way things are going. We have a great crew and quality has already been improving since the last 2 weeks I took over running the shop.

Our new shop management arrangement is not like any other I have ever seen. But I really think the new line-up is a great idea. I have my friend Mike above me...I run the day to day operations and quality assurance and my other friend Doug does our technical stuff on the computer and runs his own jobs.

I do the final Q.A. inspections on Doug's jobs and...so far so good.
