Today is the end of a big chapter in my life. It was the last day in my job in South Wales. I've worked in the company for almost 9 years and in the same job and team for 7 of those. It was the strangest feeling leaving there - it was my first fulltime job straight out of school.

I'm sad to leave the great friends I've made there, but excited about the new prospects.

So another chapter opens... A new scary one! The movers come pick all our stuff up on Wednesday morning and then we get the ferry across early on Friday morning. It's going to be a busy couple of days I think. Eeek! I'm a little nervous about what'll happen when we get there (how I get my o2 etc), but I'll be keeping the red bull near by.

Get sorted with the GP stright away.  In Jersey we have to pay for our Doctor, £32 just to walk through the the door and that is subsidised, I do not know how it works in Guensey.

What an exciting, scary, wonderful time of your life! My son and his wife packed up and moved to Kauii almost 2 years ago. I was a nervous wreck but they have had a ball adjusting and finding new experiences. There have been lots of downs but also lots of ups. Good luck with your new adventures as you close one chapter and start a new adventure.
