i picked up my welding tanks from out back at scarefactory when i worked there and took them into tractors supply in town and exchanged them. in the past i used to exchange my bottles at delile but delile was stamped on the top of the bottle. my question is can i exchange my bottle from tractors supply in columbus at a delile or linde in say el paso with out buying one of their bottles? do any of these places refill bottles?

As a company we have many times exchanged oxy and acetylene bottles with other vendors including auto part stores in a pinch. As long as they are currently stamped and certified.
Might be an issue with the name stamp though.
