I just had an appointment with my doc for a check-up. My surgery won't allow him to prescribe melatonin for me (it's not licensed here or something), but when I'd read on here about how many people took it, I told my GP that I was considering trying it. He was good - talked through the risks and what I hoped to get from it. He agreed to support me as long as I would go every 3 months for a full check-up - weight, bloods, bp - the whole shebang.

I went today and told him that I would be moving, so this would be our last check-up. He said he was sorry to see me go and he thanked me for helping him to learn more about CH. He said that I had really made him think about it and the way some other patients there were being treated for CH and that I had really helped to educate him about CH.

So for all those who are dealing with crap docs or having problems, there are some good ones out there - KEEP TRYING!!

Hoping you find another good doctor in Guernsey, I ordered melatonin from the  net and used it whislt in cycle, not sure if it helped as I was taking new meds as well, and between them all they worked  but it didn't hurt.
