ive noticed an influx of people to the site since i joined 2 weeks ago. i think i counted 50 people. i know we can do simple math, thats 25 a week on average. simple question, is that alot of people? if it was like that from day 1 for this site, that would be 13,000 members. are we close to that? just curious.

I think it ebbs and flows. We'll go weeks with a slow trickle and then there is a flood of new members. Seems to me it peaks during spring and fall. I could be wrong though.

I think the numbers are increasing too because the word is getting out on CH and more are being properly diagnosed.

Chris there usually is a large influx in the spring and fall as the episodics come back after a lengthy remission. Well wishes to them as they come and go, and we welcome them back. Add the newly diagnosed looking for help - some stay, some don't.

The information on site statistics can be found on the ch.com forum page, the main page. Tells # of members, how many online at any given time, last post, newest member, etc.

Yes Chris it is that time of the year. Fall triggers a lot of episodics and we have an influx of new hits and new people. It is also a time where people seem to be on edge and fights break out. Usually by Christmas everything is back to normal in Clusterville and we are wishing everyone Merry Christmas and all is well.

There have been over 11k usernames issued from this site. DJ went through about a year ago and cleared out the inactive ones. He removed several thousand names.

Spring and fall are busy seasons. I think its the rapid change in daylight.

that would explain why the user name i had in 2001 was no longer registered. i found this site in 2001, but forgot about it until recently.

yeah potter, i forgot about it 7 years ago. ive had alot happen since then. ALOT. plus i wasnt that involved with the site either. i didnt explore it enough back then. if i knew about O2, the right way, id probly still be married and i wouldnt have been on opiates for as long as i had been. why you always dogging me? why?
