Meg just clled from a cell phone from the school, which is under lockdown.  Dylan is due back from his trip to Milwaukee today at 4:30 by bus.  I don't know if the dispatch will contact the bus driver.  Just great...two shootings on the same block in what? Just over a week?

Meg called again and I read her the news update.  They aren't able to get any news as they are hole up in the loft above the auditorium stage.  She was after school tonight auditioning for the musical.

They were under the impression the  person was already in the school, thus the reason for having to run and hide in the loft.

Cheese and rice, I lived for a spell on North 2nd St.

Ok,  this Mom is starting to freak out JUST a little bit.

Dyls bus has been diverted over to Paccelli High.  They aren't under lock down, but they are on hold till an all clear.  I can't get out of here vbecause the roads are closed off. I couldn't go get him if I wanted to.

I feel so helpless.

Meg called, they are certain the woman is not in the school.  I haven't gotten word that the streets have been opened.

Actually, the city Redd lives in isn't all that bad (I grew up there & didn't move till 1998).  There can be years that go by and then something like this happens.  It's weird. :-/

OMG Pegg! Prayers for the safety of the kids and you and may they catch this woman quickly. I am so sorry you are going through all of this. :'(

Kids and I are home.  Meg, the reporter she is, took it on to get quotes from fellow students and teachers, and began to write the story.

I just saw on the news they're at Zenoff park looking for the woman.

Everyone is safe and sound.  There are APB's in several counties.  

Lets just hope this comes to a quick end.  The man's condition is unknown at this time.
