Don't suffer from migraines myself, but I believe it is not unheard of.
If this kind of a headache occurs more often from now on, you should consult your neurologist about it. As both headaches conditions combined will probably evoke a complex disorder, it should be adressed, imho.

All the best, Pascal.

Chris:

I know that it is possible to have more than one type of headache, and there are others here who have several "types".

Personally, I had migraines at several points in my life, including the time that I've suffered from CH.  Only 2x in 21 years.  If there's changes in your headaches, you should probably get yourself checked out by a competent headache specialist.

Wishing you well,

Ray

I have both complicated (basilar artery migraines) migraines and clusters. I had the migraines since I was 9, and other types of headaches.

I've had both a cluster and migraine at the same time. As much as I wanted to lie down, I couldn't. I had to dance with a bucket in my hands for when I needed to puke.

You need to see a neuro/headache specialist. The type of migraine I have, I cannot use Imitrex, or Ergotamine, or DHE. Only a neurologist can determine what exactly is going on...

I've had chronic migraines my whole adult life, AND I get barometric headaches- which is probably why I only got officially diagnosed with clusters this year.  And my sister has FIVE distinct types of headaches. :D

Chris,

I'm one of those who happen to suffer from both migraines and clusters, so it's possible to have both.

In my case, migraines begun years earlier than ch; my first migraine was when I was 12, ch begun when I was 21.

For some reason the frequency of the migraines have dimished in great deal ever since ch arrived, which is a fact I'm not complaining about... :)

This really doesn't make much sense.

1st you say you THINK you had a migraine and wanted to know if it was possible, now you say you have always had them and can tell the difference.

Seriously dude, for a guy with such a high IQ, you often contradict yourself.
