I've used RC seeds since I discovered I had CH and they worked very well.

Just recently, they have stopped working and I have tried increasing the dose and frequency (but never more than once per week), but to no avail. I've been forced to use sumatriptan for the first time in my life - and I'm not too happy about that. (I'm currently trying to get some O2 instead.)

Has anyone else found the seeds stopped working, and if so, did you ever get them to start working again?

They actually never worked for Gary.  He had to move on to growing mushrooms for the psilocybin, which did help.  But sometimes you do have to mix it up - the beast morphs, and you gotta keep him on his toes. !!

Damn, how long did you use the seeds?? were they fresh seeds?? ive been useing them about 6 months now and have not had a cycle yet and was using the seeds as my majic bullet but i  will admit your post has just scared the hell out of me. Bill

From what I understand, seeds' potency can vary from batch to batch.  Distributors don't store them in the freezer, and I also heard that the LSA content can vary as much as ten fold.

I suppose it's possible that the seeds are old - I bought them on the web about 4 months ago but I don't know how long they had been in storage.

I'll order another batch and hope that this was the problem - but if the new ones also don't work, I still won't be able to tell whether or not it's because of the seed quality or because of a change in my body chemistry (I'm NOT growing breasts, if that's what you're thinking!).

Perhaps Gary's Girl is right and it's time for a change - damn, I think I've just missed the mushy season!

I'll post back to let you know if the new seed batch works or not.

I am going through the same thing with the seeds not working. Last year at this time the seeds stopped my headaches within two weeks time. Ive dosed twice withing the last two weeks and the headaches have gotten worse and I dont have insurance. I hope its the seeds  and not me, otherwise I cant work getting hit three or more times a day.

I am chronic and the seeds quit working for me also, get the O2 with high flow regulator and a non-rebreather mask! O2 used properly will make a huge improvement in the way you deal with this affliction.

Not that I'm aware of.  Caffeine and O2 are basically the abortives that should be used when detoxing off other meds in order to use Shrooms or Seeds.

Not so fast…. you need to make sure the tanks you get have never had poisonous gas in them, if just CO2 or nitrogen you are cool! Don’t tell the supplier that you are going to breathe the stuff because his liability won't cover personal bodily use (everyone seems to forget to remind on this and please make a note to do so :))!! Just make sure the tanks are clean.

...An update to the original post:

I got a new batch of RC seeds from my supplier who had run out of stock and had to order some more - so they are more likely to be fresh seeds.

They are working again! I'm a chronic CH sufferer, so it's pretty easy to tell the difference in pain levels as attacks are a daily occurrence. So, the seeds I was using must have been pretty old - but they DID pass the "validity check" by sinking when placed in water - So maybe they're working again for some other reason?

Anayway, phew! I've been really panicking during the last couple of months, but now I'm back to "normal".

Might be time to just Seed Ships. Have you tried the HBR's if you had been using RC's ?

Initially HBR didn't work for me but RC's kicked it in the ass. I'd vacillate between elixirs for as long as they'd work.

Hi all, i'm kind of new to this. I have been having these REALLY painful headaches about 2 months out of the year for, oh...10 years now. They come on every night in an instant and go away almost as fast as they come on. It's like a tornado ripping through a trailor park. So FINALLY I think I am able to put a name to the pain as cluster headaches. I also have a "thing" about taking medication so you can understand my delima when these cycles come on. I end up going through a whole bottle of Excedrin migrane in a matter of days, yet these bastrad headaches sneak off into the darkness before they have a chance to work. I haven't been to a neurologist (have an appointment next week) to actually diagnose 'clusters" yet, but after reading up on these SOB's i can safely say i get them complete with water eyes, stuffy nose, nausea, head banging, floor pacing, knee dropping, grown man crying and all. So up until now i have just been living with it and have had nothing to ease the pain. I will shoot up gasoline if it will work. I don't suppose there is anything I can take over the counter that will help. Will I just have to wait on a percription of some Pfizer miracle drug?
