Abigail our granddaughter, came down sick over the week end and was admitted in the hospital Monday she has a respiratory problem, they released her Wednesday night, she was rushed back a few hours later. She is getting worst instead of better. Buddy and I can't leave till tomorrow, our banks closed we have to wait for it to open Saturday. Please keep her in your prayers. My daughter and her husband have had little to no sleep for a week now. Pray for us all !

:( Elaine, it's scary when little ones get sick like that. It happens so quickly. I know that you're worried--but it sounds as if they're making all the right moves.

I'm sure you'll be on pins and needles until little Abigail is on the mend--but try not to worry. She'll be in good hands.

I think there's nothing more frightening than a baby- your baby, ill and in dire need.......Dana had bronchiolitis at 2 weeks of age, spent Easter in the hospital, and Gil and I never left her. The good news is, I think she's out of the woods, now, at 33 yrs old ::)...
I'll be looking for an update, E..and sending vibage out your way for Abigail and her parents!

GOOD NEWS!!!!

Elaine & Buddy's granddaughter is greatly imporved :) The baby will not be released for a couple days....just to be on the safe side.

Buddy & E were packed and in the truck headed out when Heather called with the good news.

The emergency trip isn't necessary.....whew!!!

Thank you for posting Jackie. Thank you all for the prayers. Abigail is still in the hospital, they have taken her off O2 she is doing fine, but they are going to keep her a few more days. She is drinking now and getting her energy back.

Our daughter called Saturday and said things were better, she would rather us come down when Abigail is home and better. Keep her in your prayers, untill she is well. She still a sick little baby.

Glad to hear Abigail is improving. She's going to be just fine, Elaine and one day you can tell her what a scare she gave to all of her adopted, aunties, uncles and grandparents.

The baby was released a hour ago. My daughter is happy and looking forward to being back home. Her husband has the house all clean and cooked up a weeks worth of meals for her. All turned out well.
They are planing a trip here in January so maybe then I will get to hold her. I do get to hear her over the phone. She still sounds congested to me, but I am just the grandma LOL.
