Title: Rock VS hardspot
Post by thebbz on Dec 6th, 2008 at 1:29pm
Sometimes nothing works. I had to stop 02 to get some air. There is a limit to everything, except is seems, the number of hits per day. Frustration and anger are the words for today to me. This is just the third month and already I am losing focus. I can hardly look at the puter screen.
This relentless and seemingly never ending pain does get to ones spirit. Hang on and hold on. It will end I know, however that does not alleviate the pain. It does help knowing you all are here. Support from my family here means so much. As I get the knife to the temple I grunt and cuss. I keep going because there is no other choice. It is easier to some extent because I know that Potter will call, Linda is with me at every hit, and Karl is fighting in Idaho. There are so many more I cannot mention all of you but you are all with me.I have friends that have to go through this same thing and they are fighting with their all.
So will I.
I hate this condition so much. Gotta go, I have an appointment with my 02 tank.
Fight on fight on. Go away you no good demon sombitch. >:(
the bb
I feel better now ;)

You bet your sweet bippy I'm with you John.  I wish I could take some hits for you, so you can get some rest.  I'd do it in a hearbeat.

Please consider that this rampage your head is on.. could be the beginning of the end of this cycle.

Bless your heart for fighting this so well.

(gee, I sound like Jackie)  ;D

To bbz and Rolo

I want to throw this out. Guisippi and I and also BobP and I believe Barb all take or have taken cafergot along with our 02. I took suppositories (cut in half but I know others took the pill. What it did for us was give us hours in between hits. We feel one coming on, take a cafergot and jump on the 02. For me it kept them away all day until I woke up in the middle of the night and huffed the 02 again.

It is an old drug and not prescribed much anymore but I know it has cut down on the number of ha's a day for some.

Give it your best bro, I know you will.

I still use that combo Jimi.  For the next go round I'll try seeds (but probably do it wrong) then it will be O2, cafergot and maybe some lithium this time.

Be well soon John.

Sorry man! I wish there was something I could do to help you, but all I can do is keep you in my prayers that you catch a break and keep supporting you. Hang in there!!

By all means try the cafergot (ergotomine). The suppostories work faster, but the pills are handier..  Been my abort for about 10 years along with O2

Wishing you PF time soon...

If you're taking Verap check if you can take the Cafergot.  I'm not sure they can be taken in combination. I don't know. Memory telling me no but that's been slipping fast. Talk to Dr.

Hope the best for you.

Love you John...damnit.......you're a whisker overdue for a break. Give that cafergot a shot, like Jimi, it'll buy me 8-12 hours when I'm in a hard cycle. :'(

If I can do it, so can you.  Stay strong and know that we are all with you fighting every step of the way.

Wish I could take some hits for you so you could get some rest.  If I could, I would. :'(

John you know we're with you.  I've used something more when being oxygen dependent brought just a short span between time after time.  What else has helped before?

Keep working on it, keep knocking it down.  We hear you.

Dam bbz, don’t ya got any sharp pointed weapons in the war chest?? I have 5 boxes of Trex that I don’t use often but the DHE is awesome when the clock keeps tolling and tolling and you are in crappersville…

Put a blackjack up side Mr. Kickasses head and let him have it!

I only got hit twice today (like it is a blessing) but I know as soon as 1 am comes, my friend will want to argue his point in me eye…

Best to ya,
Give em hell!

Roland. [smiley=hug.gif]

So horrible hearing about someone getting hit so hard-

Just hoping that this means it is about to lose its strength and back off a bit as sometimes when you think you can't take any more it gives you a breather.

I don't know all of what you are taking or have taken but is a pred. taper worth considered to maybe give you a break or lessen the attacks??

Sending you painfree wishes from the UK

W

Get a grip and never let go of it. The pain ahead of you is no worse then the pain behind you, never retreat. Never lose.

You guys all rock!!! I hate it when these become intractable like that. Being pushed to the point of despair sucks the big one. I am finally getting a break. I dosed with 3g of mushrooms yesterday. Havent been hit since. [smiley=bigguns.gif] I had to wait for days off to do this. I dont think dosing with shrooms and going to work would be a doable. ;D
I am truly grateful for all the responses on the board and the PM's from family members here. It means so much when I am in battle on the floor. It brings to light just what we are all here for. You all deserve bigs hugs from the bbz...even Bob P ;)
I am sorry that I havent been here as much, but it's hard banging my head and staying online when they are one after another. Thank you all as well for the treatment suggestions. The Cafergot didn't work in the 80's, I dont handle ergotamine tartrate well at all. DHE either. The beta and calcium channel blockers only aggrivate things for me. I guess I am one of them that has been through all of the traditional treatments with no success. The fact that I have no insurance or a big pile of money is ruling the day. We spent our Christmas money on 02.
I only have a couple of doses left of the shrooms....anybody want some Maca Root?, it didn't do anything for me.  :-?
As always I remain in battle with my family behind me.
Take that demon bastard.

Thanks again Cathi!! Your not a bad demon fighter yourself. Me I fall down I get up. It helps to have a hand,,,or many. Take one dose of friendship and call me in the morning. ;) You can never overdose on that treatment and the side effects are pleasant. 8-)
