After being signed off work for 3 1/2 weeks due to this cycle I am currently going through I returned to work on tuesday only to be told on friday that they had to let me go due to there not being enough work on at the moment.
I fully understand that times are hard at present but find it strange that my boss was not over keen on me having to have o2 at work and that there were 5 other people at work who had started working there well after I had, who still have a job to go to on monday morning.
Anyway I just wanted to get it of my chest really as I am certain this is down to me suffering with the 'beast' and not the current climate due to the fact that for the few day's I was at work I was running round like a blue arsed fly.
Still at least christmas is just round the corner (should be Fu*king great)!!!!!!

If you are being made redundant, that isn't lawful, they should be doing a fair selection of who is redundant

Sorry to hear that Dan, I’m in the same boat…I got laid off the end of September.

Dam companies lay you off so you cant sue them for discrimination after they find out what that thing you have in your head really is…If you can prove that you are more qualified than the replacements, you may still have a bit of legal recourse but who needs another fight on their plate when its full already with CH…
