My nice Vanessa Goodell, 19 was killed in an auto accident in Bend Oregon Friday night. Her Aunt Mary Goodell was my brothers God mother.

You guy are the greatest!

I have not seen Vanessa since the family reunion in 98’… It’s hard to believe time has scurried by so fast! You spend 18 years protecting them and when the hit the world a running you can only hope for the best. I really feel for her parents…

The trucking company lawyers are all over this trying to keep the details under cover. We suspect her BF was drunk but cannot get any info as of yet. It is a tragic loss of young life.

Her Grandfather John Goodell was a film director, and a really great guy!!!

I'm so sorry for your, and your family's loss.

My Aunt (well, Mom's adopted sis...) her niece died in a motorcycle accident years ago... Her boyfriend was driving it, he took a turn at the wrong time and she was thrown and killed. Her father, Cindy's brother, blamed the boyfriend for it. The father was a paranoid schizo, but the boyfriend has to live with that on his shoulders, for the rest of his life...

She had 2 little kids, and wanted Cindy to have them and raise them. It was such a horrible situation. She was only about 19 herself... She'd just started to turn her life around, too. It's never easy to see something like this happen...

There's not really anything I can say to help, other than I'm so sorry for your loss.

Gave me chills to read this. I am very sorry and completely understand. I lost my little sister 10 years ago in a car crash when she was 17. It stays with you forever but does get easier. I truly feel for her parents. Til this day my parents still are not the same.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong and be there for each other. Friends and family are a true blessing in times like this
