It is starting to come into view right in front of me sitting here at my computer desk. It is blocked by a lot of pine trees but can see the moon and it is really bright. Hope it is clear where you are so you can see this also, I am finding it breathtaking myself! [smiley=thumb.gif]

I wasn't fast enough to get my camera ready before the moon disappeared behind the clouds :(

I was driving home at 5:00 and the moon was just coming up. It was HUGE and as it was rising it was climbing through the clouds, sometimes very visible and other times woven between the dark, grey clouds. It was so beautiful. Of course I didn't have my camera either. i just took it out of my car a few days ago. It wasn't quite as breathtaking when it was higher up.

Not great - I sold all my good stuff last year so this is the best I can do with what I have left.

First one is using the standard approach

It is 6:40am right now and we cannot see the moon at all :P Cloud cover moved in with some snow in the forecast, but what a sight last night! [smiley=cool2.gif]

That moon up here (a couple of hours east of Alaska) was brighter at
10 am this morning than the sun......ummmm what sun - we're in the twilight zone approaching the longest night.
