I know user titles aren't something you can edit, but mine sometimes says "veteran" and sometimes says "old timer." Even at work I've never been into titles - but I was just wondering on this board what they "mean," if anything really?

Do they change due to time, number of posts, attendance of a conference?????????????? I haven't been able to find an explanation and can't really figure out the logic behind them. (Gary was reading some posts and asked what a "Hall of Famer" is. I didn't know).

No biggie - just curious. Thanks!

I just looked up DJ's and Steph's titles. :) "YaBB Administrator" is so plain! Creative engine not working tonight, can't come up with any good ideas. But I think they should have some fun with it then! :)

It's all post count based - except for the Alumnus. I've figured out so far that at 250 posts you become and "old timer" and at 500 posts you become a "hall of famer." Alumnus receive special distinction for contributing to the site - as they should! The rest, I don't know. But it is post count driven, so now I know! :)

OK. Found it out DOES have to do with post count! At 250 you become an "old timer" and at 500 you become a "hall of famer." :) I don't know what the other post counts and titles are, but there's that.
