Title: "A Christmas Story" Post by Jeannie on Dec 16th, 2008 at 12:31pm I watched it again with my daughter Morgan the other day. You know the one. Ralphie wants a Red Rider BB Gun. Everyone he asks, including Santa, tells him. "You'll shoot your eye out!" When he finally gets it he runs outside to play with it. A BB ricochettes off of a sign and hits him in the cheek of course, just below the eye. The narrator of the story then says.. "Oh my God, I shot my eye out!!!" It just cracks me up every time I see it. What's your favorite Christmas movie? Jeannie |

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
"The shitters full!" :D just gotta add some more scenes... The wagon going under the semi and flying through the air over the snowbank and landing at the tree farm. Stapling the Christmas lights to the roof, the ice sliding off the gutter and into the neighbors house. And then poor Clark trying to get them to come on when the switch is on a breaker. The squirrel!! Eddie's wifes turkey that farts as the thing collapses because she didn't thaw it! Eggnog! Clark telling the bosses at his work Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, kiss my ass, kiss his ass, Happy Hannakuh. and everything about the crazy, insaneness of family, friends, love and acceptance. :) |

There are only two must sees for Christmas ...
My favorite is "It's A Wonderful Life" and my ex-wife's is "Miracle on 34th Street" With those two, who needs anything else? Chuck |

I agree Mel. That is the best one out there now.
It used to be Christmas Story until I bought it and had to watch it again and again every time one of the grandkids came over. Burnt out on it now. |

It's a Wonderful Life - on Christmas Eve, when all the last minute wrapping is done and early food prep for the next day is finished, I watch this - I usually don't sit down until about 10.00, but always watch it while Stephen is usually sleeping on the sofa next to me! I just can't get through that film without shedding tears. A great film.
I also love Elf, because it's such a great story. |

Elf is awesome too!!! I love when he lights up all the elevator buttons, or when he jumps off the sofa to put the star on the tree and when he congratulates the coffee shop on having the worlds best coffee!! The line I hear in my head over and over from the movie is about the swirly, twirly gumdrops. ;D |

I suppose we're a little weird.
Every year on Christmas Eve, we watch "Scrooged" with Bill Murray. Carol Kane as the Ghost of Christmas Present never fails to crack me up. Best, George |

I'm going to have to rent The Holiday. I've heard a lot of people say it is really good.
Oh, and Rudolph is another one of my favorites. Jeannie |
