I seem to make the same one's every year.  Loose weight, get healthier, exercise more.... blah, blah, blah.  

This year I am going to change that.   First and foremost, I am going to get my family back into church.  I used to be very faithful.   Not sure what happened there.  

Secondly, I am going to try to make an effort to be HAPPY.  Not that I am unhappy really.  I am just going to try to appreciate my life more.  Each moment of health, every minute of PF time, my beautiful children, my loving husband, new found friends, and old ones as well.

Jeannie, and Jimmers,,, those last two posts cracked me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I learned that lesson along time ago Jimmers!  I am going to try giving up cussing for a resolution,,, I did it one year and it lasted about three months. I remember my grandfather NEVER said a dirty word in his life,(a man I loved and RESPECTED to the utmost!!!) When i questioned him about this , he replied,"its just not needed, there is always a word you can use that is not dirty or crass"  Tuck

Sveen I can compare. It's been a hard year for all of us. Call them my crazy teenage high hopes but here's mine:

A. Make this year better than the last. (Other words no dealing with terrible mothers, no losses of best friends, no heart breaking suffering in the family, no fighting with friends/sisters/brothers, etc.)

B. Do something that's random and maybe slightly crazy just because it makes me happy.

C. Be better than the best person I can be(who I always try to be) and let the sh*t just roll on by.

Broken

Not a resolution, but a promise to myself to get back in decent shape again.  Quitting smoking didn't add but about 5 pounds, but having to go back on BCP added about 15 pounds and I really, really, really need to lose that.  Have far too many clothes that I can wear if I get back in shape.

I haven't really thought about resolutions yet, but I'm thrilled that this year will be over soon.  It's been the suckiest year I can recall for a long long time.

Not really. I do have goals for 2009 (such as get a job as a journalist, find love, stay optimistic at all times...), naturally, but that's about it.

I can't recall the last time I did any resolutions...

I resolve to settle into the new Beach House.asap......
to that end, I resolve to sell my current residence, and get the contractor going!
