Although I haven't been around much lately I do think of y'all often. I had a wreck the day after Thanksgiving. I totaled my car, broke my wrist and fractured two vertebrae in my back...but I am ALIVE!! That is enough to make this a very, merry Christmas!!

For those of you who have watched my kids grow up here are a few pictures from this wonderful holiday season!!

The kids looks look great, Donna.....healthy and happy. I remember you having two toddlers though. Are you sure those are your kids... :) ;)

The kids & I went to Breakfast With Santa [the above pics],
a PTA event at their school.
We had a pancake breakfast, pictures with Santa & then the
horse ride.

Below are other pictures I took.
The pics show some of the damage result of the wreck which
was a single car accident. She was alone in the car.
We had our own "Black Friday" here
[the day after Thanksgiving, when the crash occurred].

I dunno DD.. you make it sound like that wreck was nuthin woman!

Truth is, that was a pretty damn serious accident you had!

I hope your physical therapy gets you where you can stand being on your feet or sitting for normal periods of time. I am glad you have some cool and understanding supervisors, and that things at work are ok for now. I'm sure your kids appreciate a whole bunch that you're home with them , even if you have to be laying down the majority of the time.

Those are some crazy photos Steve posted - it looks like your car slammed pretty hard, I really think your injuries might've been much worse considering the car's damage.

Keep your chin up girlfriend, someone up there was looking out for you, and I'm glad you're here to tell the story.

Those dam trees with legs, did they catch the one that hit you and ran away barking? ;D
You know they can DNA test trees now so save the bark for when they catch the perp. [smiley=crackup.gif]

I hope the wrist didn’t need pins and external brace, my grandma was knocked down by a dog and broke her wrist 15 years ago. She just fell last month in the bathroom and broke it again but not as bad as before. She is 90 now and getting senile, she wants to get it operated on. As she puts it “I want to be able to play the piano”. She hasn’t touched that piano in 25 years.

Ouch, cavalier meets concrete… I saw that happen once, the end of the barrier was sticking out on a clover leaf and the car caught it. The car spun round twice and I felt bad that I couldn’t stop to help. I was heading to an emergency service call at the time so I called 911 on the cell.

Thank you all for your well wishes!!

Hopefully I will be able to get back to work after the first of the year, although the doctor said it will take about four months for my back to completely heal.

The wreck was bad, but could have been much worse. My dad passed away only a couple of weeks before I had the accident and I honestly believe that I had an angel watching over me that day.

Be careful on the roads PLEASE!!
