This time last year was really rough for us and id like to thank all of you from the very bottom of my heart for all your prayers thoughts and vibes while Riley was so unwell. When he had the stroke i really thought the game was up and fell apart but with the help from all of you and seeing the strenth in my sons eyes we made it. The doc said it would be unlikly he would live past 72 hours and if he did he quality of life would be poor at best... he proved that wrong

Happy Birthday Riely.  Ike I am so happy that you can say that you made it to the one year mark.  I know personally the struggle of a parent of a child not given the odds of survival or quality of life.  My son celebrated his 24 birthday in Nov.  I have prayed for your son like my own and am so glad that he is around to celbrate holidays and birthday and everyday with you.  Enjoy them while you can.  They grow up fast.
