You know you're a Wisconsinite if:
You went outside yesterday afternoon and commented that it was "nice out" (the temp was up to 7 degrees above zero) You laugh when people say "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" because it's not the cold, it's the windchill You're surprised that schools are closed when you only got 8 inches last night You snicker at people who say walking through sand is a great workout - try walking through 12 inches of snow and see how your muscles feel |

LOL!!! JrBrew made that exact comment after lunch yesterday. We were shopping and stopped for lunch. When we got out of the restaurant he commented that it was nice out again!! I feel like I live in a snow-globe. |

It is going to be nice and warm here this weekend. A high of 34 on Friday and 33 on Saturday! Lotsa snow tho, but that's OK by me. I'd rather have the snow than the arctic air!

Just keep the snow THERE rather than HERE please? School is out...but I have a housefull of young adults coming over for family movie night here. Would rather the weather be kind for their late night drives back to their homes.

Hi Cuddlepumpkin........
Dumb Jamestown Swedes are the same kid. They always said that my kin settled here because the weather is just as bad as is it is there. 8-) Charlie |

I may not be a cheese head but here in MN when it hits 20°, we think it’s a heat wave at this time of the year!

It hasn't been too bad really. But when the wind chill gets down to around 15 below zero my trikes shifters start to get sluggish. On the other hand, my Shimano Deore XL derailler is one of the best and Winter isn't going to last all that long. So Maybe I should just stop whining about it. Maybe a Teflon coated cable will help. And after all, it is easy on gas.

I went outside this morning and the first thing I said to Brew was "is it WARM out here?"
It was 31 degrees. 31 degrees is NOT WARM in any other climate. |

It's 25 degrees out here right now and it didn't bother me one bit to go out on the deck in my PJ's while I waited for the dog to do her business.
Only thing I don't like about the weather is how it plays with my head. :P |

And the snow just keeps on a fallin'.
Winter can be over as far as I'm concerned. |

Fight the roads to take m UE check to the bank...
Drive through is closed....no deposit made. Go to the store and get extra "gas cents" so I can fill the tank... Lined up forever...is this the 70's gas shortage lines? Decided to go to the next station... SAME FRIKKIN' THANG!!!!! Head home before the tank get too low to make another trip back to the station. Unless there is an emergency, I'm staying put until Friday. Lease I DID get enough smokes to last me till then... :) |

I remember snickering when I read Pat saying that few understand that in the middle of winter when it gets sunny, that means it'll get *colder*. So sad, those who don't have the opportunity to fully appreciate winter!
and missed y'all too!!! Snickerdoodle, stay away from all that Swede food tomorrow - I want ya to live! hehehe |
