Sorry to hear that Mel, I hope Eli feels beter soon! Poor kid, it’s hard on them when they get hit at night. As a father I fully admit that mom takes the brunt of the sicknesses.
Best wises for the rest of the holidays and Eli’s tummy! [smiley=hug.gif] 's to ya Sweetie :-* Roland. ;) |

POOR MELLY! POOR ELI!
I remember the year Michael got sick just as he was ready to open his gifts....what he had for US was NOT my idea of a gift! [smiley=hurl.gif] He ended up laying on the floor while his dad opened his gifts and showed them to him. His reactions to his gifts left a lot to be desired! All I can say is blankets and flat 7-up for Eli for Christmas! I hope you both return to normal soon! Merry Bleaugh, Melly! CCold Ccathi :-* |

Well, Eli slept better than I did. I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 this morning. I was too paranoid at every noise he made, ready to leap across the floor with a bucket. :-/
Anyway, he's doing much better this morning. I did have to call my dad to come next week instead of today though, because who knows if Eli is contagious. Not only that, we're under yet another winter weather advisory. ::) Well, Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have a wonderful day! :)mel |

Glad to hear that Eli is better this morning!
Now what you have to do, is to convince him that he (and the others) need to take a nap, in order to properly recuperate .. and then YOU can take a nap too! All the best to you and yours, Mel! Chuck |

Oh poor Eli (and Mom) My very first Christmas at Erik's house I woke up throwing up. I spent the whole day at my future in laws in bed. The worst part is I was contagious as we saw in the future days. What an impact I made! I hope your family is exempt from this! Good call at keeping Grandpa home for a bit.
Lisa is coping with asthma issues. She's nebulizing every 3 to4 hrs and on a prednisone burst. I think she is allergic to Christmas! This has happened several Christmas's. All the smells and the dust that comes taking stuff out of the attic. I reminded her she could be throwing up.... Let's hope our girls get over this quickly (an you get some sleep!) Merry Christmas! Happy to hear that Eli's feeling less puny now, Mel. Hope you all manage to get a little rest and recovery time today.
A Merrier Christmas to you and yours, George, Liz and Ellen |
