To go out and take some pictures. The temps were in the upper 60s with no wind, so it was a gorgeous day. I've processed all the pictures from the SX10IS, but photobucket is actin wonky tonight, so only have a few uploaded.

All pictures were taken at Black Bayou lake.

I like the interplay of the lines of the walkway and contrails coupled with the contrasting colors and warm textures of the wood. They are all good, but I like this one in particular – cool shot IMHO.

I was planning on going out today, but yesterday set my allergies off even worse and I've been sneezing my fool head off today.

That walkway (when completed) will be about a mile or a little longer. It starts in one part of the preserve and swings out over the lake and back to the walking trails.

I am lucky to have places to go take pictures. There are two major lakes/parks within 25-35 miles of me and then numerous small parks within 15-20 miles. I'll have a lot more places to go when deer season is over!

Still loading the super-wide pics. On dial-up now, so it's akin to waiting for cold molasses to come out of the jar.

This one looks like a part of the Schmeekle Reserve very near where I live.

Ask Vig...Kids and I took him on a hike through there when he came to visit a few years back.

I'll have to take a few pics next summer when I go hiking there and prove it. And the deer are near tame and just stand there watching you as you watch them. Pretty damn cool.
