This is absolutely disgusting.  It's a truck stop that keeps tigers in a 30X30 concrete cell, next to the highway noise and the diesel fumes, purely as a gimmick to sell gas.

Big Cat Rescue has offered to care for Tony in their wildlife sanctuary for life; instead of doing the right thing, these hicks have filed a lawsuit to keep their tiger, saying he's "family", and then saying he's their "income".

There is a law on the books that prohibits the exhibition of exotic animals; yet they still fighting it.  I have seen this tiger myself...the conditions are vile and deplorable.  You wouldn't even keep a dog in that cage...yet this cat is their "family"?!

Please help send a message to the parish that they can't give in to these people.  The next court meeting is coming up- Jan. 20th.  Thank you!!!!  :-* :-* :-*

couldn't agree with you more. they took a majestic creature like a tiger and imprisoned him in a nasty old truckstop. what a life. i don't even like seeing animals at the zoo.

Fabulous...after a council meeting, when the Rescue lady is being interviewed in the hallway ON CAMERA, one of the gas station people actually PHYSICALLY ATTACKS her!!  On camera!!  I hope she sues.
