When is it really cold?
According to the Finns only a matter of attitude ... +10°C / +50°F Air conditioners are still used in Helsinki. Finns plant flowers. +5°C / +41°F Finns take a sun bath. +2°C / +35.6°F Italian cars don't start anymore. 0°C / +32°F Water freezes. -1°C / +30.2°F Breath becomes visible, time to plan a beach holiday. Finns eat ice and drink cold beer. -4°C / +24.8°F The cat wants to sleep in bed. -10°C / +14°F Finns go swimming. -12°C / +10.4°F It's too cold to snow. -15°C / +5°F American cars don't start anymore. -20°C / -4°F Breath can be heard. -22°C / -7.6°F French cars don't start anymore.
