I have the FLU!!!

Been shirking around it - everyone else has had it - sneezing on me and all that stuff -- but I NOW have it... they finally gave it to me..

Yesterday, I got all achey and chilled (had a full day of dealing with people - felt terrible, but made it all day - think I was making sense) By the time I got home - fever was up and I took some aspirin, rubbed with Vicks and hit the bed.

This morning - there's not a place on me that don't ache. Stopped up completely.. the whole ball of wax. I"M MISERABLE - so I'm going back to bed and hope Mr. Demon lets me SLEEP this mess off...

Lordy!! I've had hangovers that didn't feel as bad as this....

But the bright side of this is --- I've got to go to an appeal on that state audit on Wednesday -- maybe I'll still be contagious... and give that damn auditor this and he'll get sick (wouldn't wish CH on anyone, but the Flu is a whole different matter :)).

Ya'll have a good weekend...

Get lots of rest, lots of fluids, and that sucks. I'm really sorry - HATE the flu. Sending heaps of positive light and GET WELL SOON vibes! Hope you feel great by Wed but are still contagious..... ;D

Well, that stinks. Sorry the flu bug bit you, Barbara. Good thinkg is, they leave their stinger in you and they die.

Total rest is the way to fight it and not getting up before it's totally gone.

Barb, wish you were closer.........I have it too........went to dinner with friends, and on the way there I commented to Gil that, wuite suddenly, it felt like my tonsils were on fire. By the time we got home, I cried as he put me to bed.........if I'm crying, I'm sick, and he knows it........been drinking hot lemonade, food is not an option, and I'm feeling sorry for myself........
now, just think, we could be bundled up under the covers , watching old tearjerker movies.........ahh, I'm not good company anyway..........

The refrigerator needs cleaning ..
Dishes are piling up in the sink ...
Grocery shopping needs to be done ...

It had been too many days ~~of peace and quite~~ without hearing from ~~the old broad~~ dear sweet Barb so I placed a call to her this morning. She's still alive but still has a fever, chills, etc. Poor thing even had to cancel the audit which proves how sick she is because we all know how she feels about billable hours. Though it does look like she's going to make it.

Personally I feel bad for the dogs ;D

Just thought I'd let ya'll know that she is still alive and kicking...
