Ellen called me out to the living room this evening. Said she wanted to show me something.

Our old cat, Fedora, was following Ellen around--as she often does.

Ellen pointed at Fedora and said, "Sit".

Fedora sat.

I figured it was an anomaly, so I asked Ellen to do it again. She told the cat to sit, and the cat did.

You know how cats are. This just strikes me as unnatural. Sometimes I think my daughter likes to mess with my head.

I was sitting outside on Hallowe'en handing out candy and noticed a cat just leisurely strolling along, minding his own business and suddenly a woman with 3 little kids called the cat to "come" and he went directly to her side.

She told me that he will heel just like a dog does. They take him everywhere!

Cats do like to screw with our minds!!!!!

Funny...

I was just playing the video. Fedora heard Ellen talking, and came out here to see what was what.

That cat worships the ground Ellen walks on. :)

Some people have a peculiarly strong affinity with animals...Ellen seems to be one of them. I've known a few other people like that. It's good to see. ;)
