were supposed to get 5" of snow in the hamptonroads area. i tell yall this cuz its un heard of. the city shuts down when we see 2". everyone goes fucking crazy. like theyve never seen the shit before. and driving, forget it. the roads are FILLED with non-drivers. thought it might make someone smile. :)

Up here in Toronto we just had the tenth anniversity of the mayor calling in the army to clear the snow so the city could function.
People thought he was nuts but what the hell it got the city going again.

Last year at this time we had had 37 inches of snow for the season.

Right now we've received 45+ inches of snow for the season - on par to break last year's record.

My heart bleeds for "yall." ::)

I live in philly and haven't taken the shovel out of the shed in 2-3 years. Still not much snow. I miss it. I would love a good blizzard
