Well, I want to meet the rest of you freaks! Never met another CHer in person.  Isn't there some sort of summer get together?  If anyone's around Philly. would love to meet up!

As Lou-Con was breaking up, talk is building of a Las Vegas get together late September early October. Details to follow!!!! ;)

Philly here!  There are a few us in the area.  Every attempt at getting a bunch of us together has fallen through.  Maybe this will regenerate the discussion.  Of course I'd rather due it when my cycle is over so I can indulge.  But whatever

I'm in the Art Museum area, you?  I'm almost out of cycle, so I can relate to wanting to indulge!

Im in northeast philly near Holy Family University and NE airport.  My cycle is just starting but I plan on beating his ass this time.  Keep in touch.  chad up near allentown I think would be interested.  

I tend to bunker down while in cycle.  Already cancelled taking my dad out for his 60th b-day.  I just hate dealing with this shit in public.  But don't let me stop ya.  I'll absolutely do it when the Beast says I had enough

NEVER cancel plans, just because you are in cycle!  THAT is letting the beast win!

Once you have a good abortive, go and do what you normally do.  If you get hit, go off in private, kick the beast's ass, and then go back to what you were doing.  Life can still be lived, even in cycle.  Hell, look at all us chronics!  We don't disappear for life, just because we will get hit!

ESPECIALLY never cancel a gathering with other clusterheads!  Where else can you go, when no one will question you, or look at you strange, when you go off to deal with the beast?  Every one there will know exactly what you are going through.  GO TO THE GATHERING!

It is SO worth meeting up with fellow sufferers and supporters!  You will NEVER regret it!

Yeah, there's nothing like sharing an O2 tank with Chuckles... :)

Don't worry about the headaches at a gathering of CHers... there's always help and support all around you.

anybody comes near my o2 tank has a death wish.  Seriously....I have a neuro appt on tuesday.  H e will write me a script I am sure.  Right now I am using the big one's from the welding shop, thats it.  Its a pain in the ass lugging that thing around. The prob may be the insurance or med suplly place.  The supply place told me insurance co's don't cover o2 for cluster headaches.
So I think I have a fight ahead of me.
