Owls should be extinct via natural selection. They like to fly 5-8 feet off the ground and are frequently taken out by cars & trucks. I can't even begin to count the number of times my windshield has been buzzed and that instinctive ducking below the steering wheel when driving to work at O-dark-thirty in the morning.

I admire people who can take good pics so much and in particular Marc and Carolyn. They have both taken pictures that are pure emotion for me, I see them and I can feel the scene they captured. They have both truly encapsulated moments in time and made them immortal. While those emotions exist, while others can see them and feel them - there will always be faith in the human race |

Very cool pic. I remember a few years ago I was driving home at night and saw something very large on top of my neighbors mailbox. I stopped and rolled down the window to take a look and a huge owl turned its head and looked at me. My first thought was "I wish I had a camera with me". It didn't fly away, just sat there and stared me down.

Ok, that's it. I'm going to give up trying to take pics of animals all together. With my cam, they will have to stay very still and even then pics turn out whatever. Sanna |
