Title: Can I scream now...? Post by sandie99 on Jan 22nd, 2009 at 4:16pm
I'm little frustrated right now and need to vent. As soon as I've typed this, I shall run to the living room and scream out loud for a minute.
Ok, here's the deal: the beast visits me daily. There's shadows, too, which make me a hazard to the rest of the world this cycle around. Oh, I kid you not. Yesterday 3 kids were playing (bad) music way too loud at the subway and I felt like smashing their heads together - it's not like me to be irritated over something minor like that. This time, beast certainly has brought out the bitch inside! ;D I'm currently taking 2x800mg guarana tablets and thanks to them I haven't been hit during the past few nights. But I haven't been sleeping 8 hours, either, because I've had evening hits and with the caffeine and extra guarana, I've been up late and afraid of taking a nap. Today, I was supposed to meet a friend of mine. Every once in a while we meet up for talk and watch something great - tv- show, movie, stand up comedy. We both were free today and she was supposed to call me but she never did. When I sent her a text, she just said that she was having a bad day and was sorry, but our "girls afternoon" was off, just like that. Then, this evening, I had a date. Luckily for me, he did show up - being stood up twice in the same day would have been bit too much... So, we went for a cup of tea and talked for two hours. It was fine, but I'm starting to feel that God has intended that my first bestseller is titled "What Not to Do on a Date", because there are plenty of things someone should tell to the few guys I've dated lately. ::) I'm always (for some reason) excited when the Oscar nominations are announced. I was today - before I saw the list. Ok, I was excited to see Heath Ledger, Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway making the list, but not that sure about Brangelina. Well, come Oscar night, I'm probably excited again.... :-/ At least my tiny room is tidy, because I felt like going through my things and threw away a lot of "important stuff" I had been saving, and the Red Cross will be getting nicely books I don't feel like reading anymore. Tomorrow I'm going to go clean my closet - I bet there are few clothes I can throw away... Hmm... I actually feel much better already. Maybe I just scream inside in a minute and don't scare the birds and rabbits outside... ;D PF days to all, Sanna |

Keep screaming sweetie!!!
I like when you scream with such eloquence! Sad to tears for the reason behind it though. [smiley=hug.gif] with warm regards, Tony |

Sanna scream anyway - it's fun! LOL
When we were in NY I took great delight in releasing my inner psycho. Paul went to kiss me one day and I waited until he was about an inch from my face and I "barked" RUFFF! Right into his face! Boy I'm telling you - he can jump GOOOOOD! Second time was New Years Day. Brid, me Paul, his friend Joe, Patty and Ericka were all walking into Central Park so the girls could ice skate. There was an NBC van parked on the other side of the little road we were crossing and the guy sitting in the drivers seat was looking at us oddly. I raised my hands to either side of my face and shouted "RARRRR" at him. Paul, who was stood beside me jumped sideways so far and so fast you'd have thought he was shot! All I could hear over my own helpless giggles was "Jesus H CHrist are you insane?!" from Paul. I was laughing so much I could hardly walk (The NBC guy drove off PDQ - Wuss!) Both incidents released so much tension in me that I felt wonderful! It's good to be silly sometimes! The power of laughter cures alot and you know what else? I'm right with you on Brangelina LOL Brad Pitt has some almighty beer goggles! |

Thank you so much, Tony. :)
Helen, I love your stories! ;D You should write a book... :) It's been snowing and since mom is on a cruise, it's up to me to do our share complitely. In general, it's fine; I've been doing "snow works" regularly for the past 20 years, so I can do it, no probs. BUT what I dislike is that our neighbours do not do their part in the part of the street we share. I waited for a day to one of them (there's 5 peeps, 3 of them male) to that, then I just got mad enough (thank you, beast) and did their part. And no, I don't plan to be doing their share in the future - I'm not paid to do that after all ;D - but the frustration got the best of me. I did plan to place plenty of that snow inside their mailboxes, though... ;) Sanna |

An accumulation of some sleep loss from Ch can weaken our tolerance for things people at times, even compatable friendships.

I'd love to see you smash some heads together Sanna, but only if we can find my own to smash too! I'm sure there are tons out there to choose from. ;D

Thank you so much, everyone! :)
I decided that I've deserved a trip to the final sales and a movie. Nothing makes you feel better like a new pair of earrings which cost next to nothing and a comedy, in which few funny moments reminded me that when I laugh without any control whatsoever, I'm more likely to freak people out than by screaming. ;D Naturally, the best part was that the beast decided that I can enjoy a movie without a hit! :) My cousin and his live-in girlfriend are hosting a house warming party on Sunday and the idea cheered me up. Knowing them it's "all relatives" thing, but it will be as good place as any to bring out the new Sanna... ;) I actually do hope that I can avoid the shadows there, because I might end up saying to them things I wouldn't dream of mentioning otherwise. The pain and especially the irritation brings out the bitchy remarks. Besides, my cousin's dog might freak out if I'll get hit... Seriously, Kevin, I'm actually planning to change my hair - I kind of love it as long one, so no cutting, but as soon as I'm allowed to dye it (after mole removal operation) I'm going to dye it again. Red, I believe, but we shall see. :) Sanna |

Sanna,
A good scream is good for all of us. When I feel like that, I scream as loud as I can into a pillow. Then all that energy is out and I can get on with things (without my neighbours thinking I'm being attacked)!! I get real snappy when I'm having shadows. I take it out on my OH a lot of the time. Our poor supporters... :-[ Sorry you got stood up. I hate it when people do that. |
