OMG you could have played that at my house yesterday and every word would have been true!!!
I now have temporary ownership of 2 cell phones, 2 ipods, a psp and have locked every computer and one is imprisoned in her room. Oh yeah, and that line "Because I said so" - Clark SWORE he'd never say that - after 10 years of marriage he has said it so many times I think he's worn it out LOL. Cat |

Yep I find myself saying those things to the girls, even my nieces have heard some of them.My friend did this at church for Mothers Day last year. She did it for all three services so practicing it was done alot.I remember her husband and kids rolling their eyes when the song was mentioned. ::) kinda wears on the nerves after a while LOL.I do threaten the girls alot with the old " I HOPE YOU EACH HAVE 4 KIDS JUST LIKE YOU" then I do a magic, voodoo hand waving and laugh evily as i leave the room.
April turns twelve next Thursday so she is so into the whole pre-teen thing LOL minnie |

I too have seen it before. Sure sounded like MY mom. But truthfully I have said alot of those things too.
FYI I learned at an early motherhood age to quit telling my mom the things my kids were doing bad. She would laugh at me and bring up the stories about me. So now as far as she knows, our kids are angels! The most memorable thing that happened here was when our daughter stormed into her room, threw her shoe which bounced off the light fixture, breaking the glass plate cover, and then slammed her door. Joe cleaned up the glass and she had a bare light fixture for a couple years til a neighbor took pity and gave us theirs when they put in a ceiling fan. Joe also took the door off the hinges and she had no door for a couple weeks. That cured the slamming problem! |
