Just curious. When you are getting your fourth refill of O2 at the welders supply shop and they ask "don't you need any acetylene?" what do you say? I know that it is none of their business and they probably won't ask but I am a friendly guy and I would want to stay in these folks good graces.

I find that the universal response "It's an art project" seems to shut people up pretty well.   ;D

Both good answers. Thanks. I am going to a place that gets a lot of traffic from students so they are pretty cool.

Or tell 'em that "huffin' Oxygen" is the latest craze among the hipster crowd and see if they say anything.  ;D

...and tell 'em you're getting top dollar for it on the street!!!  ;D

Tell em you use it to oxygenate your tropical fish tanks.

My welding supplier has never thought to ask that. Does this mean that he doesn't love me?
