So....

I'm pushing 5 yrs chronic clusterhead
I have 4 other headache types diagnosed and
this past wednesday I develop a new one...yippee
Now I get intermittent hammers to my temple throughout the day that last a second then gone. Just an additional TAC.
Whoohooooooo! I have a constant party in my brain.

Here's the point now that some of you have gone Holy $hit....

I live med free with exception to my girlfriend O2
I am married with a toddler
I am a very successful professional.
I love my life!!!

This is not a pat on the back, as many of us deal with this bitch of a condition successfully.

It is to show you that the world doesn't end
That in between pain, one NEEDS to live.
That as quick as you can you must learn to cope and you will be fine.

Oh really? WOW!

Ya know I suffer from some sort of headache ...

It hurts like a mother ...
It only lasts 45 minutes to 3 hours ...
It is only on one side of my head (usually) ...
Wakes me up from a sound sleep ...
It happens anywhere from 6 to 10 times a day ...

I wonder if they have a name for THIS type of headache too?

I also have a toddler and am fairly successful (even continue my education, going for my masters)

Thankfully I got out of my marriage as no matter how I felt (sick, headache, tired, what have you) as soon as I got home my wife would run to her video game (world of warcrack). I now live with my parents and my daughter, and they are extremely sympathetic to my plight and as soon as I get a headache, I don't have to say anything, I can go do what I need to do for my headache and my parents will take care of the little one.

I do have to say in a sort of sick way I am sort of thankful for these clusters every two years or so because they really put things in perspective. When you have searing pain like this, and then are free of it, you really learn how to count your blessings and enjoy life.

Good post Eric, I couldnt agree more with you.

Tony Get rid of that fly at the bottom of your posts, I gave my monitor 3 seriously hard wacks before I realised it wasnt real. ;D
