Awwww.  Thank you all so much.  Y'all make me feel...um...short and very grateful.  

I got an e-mail from Elaine telling me to turn up my speakers.  Her and JD sang happy birthday to me.  What a hoot.

I've got to share a little story with you.  After the Milwaukee convention Brewcrew took Jim and I to the airport.  We had some time before our flight so he took us to lunch at "Culvers"  He insisted I save room for their famous frozen custard.  That custard was so yummy.  I just loved it.  (Calif. doesn't have Culvers.)

So yesterday morning a Fed-Ex truck pulled up in front of the house and guess what was in the package in dry ice from Bill and Pat?  Two quarts of Culvers frozen custard.  No one in my house gets ANY.  It's all mine.   ;D

Thanks again to everyone for the well wishes.   I just love you all. :-*

Done with that custard yet, Glenda? ::)

As a matter of fact, I had a very sad burial here just yesterday.  After I finished off the last of the vanilla...I sadly rinsed out the last container, took a loving look at it and put it on it's final journey to the trash.   It took me 10 days to savor and pace myself so as not to eat the frozen custard to fast.  


I enjoyed every single bite and no one in my house would dare have any of it.   I thank you once more to brew and Co.

The last of the vanilla is indeed a sad thing.
