WOW!  We had one of these about two years ago, it was nuts!  Out of power for two weeks at my dads!

Yes Linda, no one I know has ever seen ice this bad. We got 1 1/2 to 2 inches and it just took everything down. So maybe every 200 years?

Doubt you'll appreciate the sentiment Jimi but, artistically, some of those ice pictures are really quite beautiful.

Sure is pretty Jimi but YIKES!

Not a lot you can do about it except hunker down. It's on tv all the time and we feel for all of you.

This happened in 2007 in Buffalo and so many trees were lost.

Great pictures though.

i was coming across us60 in missouri and there was a 75 mile stretch that not only the lines had fallen but the poles had broken in two. and the matching pieces were several feet apart. i've never seen anything quit like it. :o

Mother nature is no joke. Glad you and Ruthie and the rest of the family are doing well Jimi.
