I would stay up and watch it, but this year none of the channels we have is showing it so I'll just catch the results tomorrow morning. It sucks, because it's been fun to watch it over the past few years... :(

The wife is cooking up a bunch of wings. Some in soy sauce and some in Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce.
She's also making that asparagus quiche I posted a pic of last year. Then there will be assorted dips and chips and .... You get the idea 8-) -Dennis- |

Spending the day with my oldest son, glued to the boob tube.
Filling our faces, drinking plenty, and smoking WAY too many cigarettes! We already had our peek-a-boo egg lunch, need to refile my glass with OJ (or maybe break out the hard stuff: Dr. Pepper), and now we are back to watching the tube .. two episodes of House, and then two of CSI, and going back and forth between the two channels ... What EXCITEMENT! Chuck |

Brew forgot to mention coffee.
And OMG I had never seen the CSI LV two-parter where Nick is kidnapped and buried. Quentin Tarantino directed and I was glued to the tube for 2 hours. Quite intense! Is it football season already? (edited because I cannot type) |

That WAS a great two hours! I had never seen those two, either. I was petrified, that the station would screw it up, and not play part two, right after it. The one that is playing now, the big shoot out, is also a new one for me. So far, it is pretty intense! Chuck |

Cable is cut off here now. Simply can't afford the added needless expenceses.
But I made a nice wine based marinara sauce over angel hair pasta and garlic bread to get us through till we watch Apocolypso (sp) on netflix. It is...however getting really old having the same dvd's playing over and over again just for background noise. I like silence..when it's time for silence. Too much will drive any same person fruity as a Holiday cake. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Buffalo tailgate parties are so stimulating that the cops have what amounts to a tailgate squad. Half of Erie County have vacations from their licenses. Watched the first whole Super Bowl in decades. My preacher neighbor, whose wife has convinced him that she is in Brazil on the Amazon administering medical care to peasants with her church group, invited me over for a pizza the size of my driveway and a bathtub full of Pepsi.....no beer with a Baptist. :-/ Not too shabby a game. Both parts were in fact written and directed by him. It's kinda in his typical non-chronological style, i.e. Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, too, because there are flashbacks that you don't even realize are flashbacks. Still can't watch more than once every few months. |

I love those Chuck. Only we call them eggs in a basket. They make them at Cracker Barrell.
Poo on all of you. I was tucked neatly in my bed, daring anyone to ask me for anything, watching every second of the game. I am a huge football fan. As for tailgating, I have not been to a pro game, but if it is anything like college ball, it is off the chart. My son-in-law goes out at 6:00 am to set up tents and tables (and we have reserved spaces), then everyone starts piling in with all the good food anyone could ever want. We usually have one of those grills going, you know the BIG one that a tractor-trailor has to bring in. We eat, and drink, for hours before the game and then again for hours after the game waiting for traffic to clear so the drunks in our group don't have to worry about the traffic. Of course, if we left earlier I guess there wouldn't be so many drunks. Anyway, it is a BLAST. What was the question? Louise |

Oh, now I remeber. What a game!!! I love the Steelers. I spent some time in Pittsburgh with IBM and really got into it. I was there the year the Steelers won the Super Bowl and the Pirates won the World Series. Talk about a PARTY!!!!!!
