Give us some details.
Is it restored or mostly original? What about the body/paint? Original? Miles? Any under-the-hood or interior pics? Either way... she is lovely. |

Way cool!
Stuff like this makes it even harder not to drive. It ain't older than me Chuck. Mom and dad had a 1949 Chevy after we got rid of the 1946 Hudson. Dad said the 49 Chevy was one of the best cars he ever had. 8-) Charlie |

We trailered Gladys home from Great Falls yesterday. She runs, she drives, she stops. The hood ornament is in mint condition.

hey potter. does that have the blue flam 6cyl or did that engine come out a few years later?

Title: Re: New car for me. Post by Marc on Feb 16th, 2009 at 7:38pm
Man, I haven't heard the name Blue Flame in a long, long time - probably would have never thought of it again if you hadn't mentioned it. The only time I've seen one was in a restored '55.

a guy i used to work with had one in a '54 chevy. it had an offenhauser intake with 3 stromberg carburetors on a plain blue engine. 3 spd on the tree. as heavy as that car was it would still put you back in the seat. |
