His classroom is his laptop and his room. He's enrolled in a virtual school, hence the ability to study pretty much whenever.

That said, he should go to bed earlier. Early to bed, early to rise, and all that hooey.

That kinda happened when we brought him home from the hospital. This change has been surprisingly easier to deal with.

Oh God I know what you mean Pat! When our oldest got her permit she asked me if she could drive home. All I could think of was, WHY DO I HAVE TO BE FIRST to test your driving skills! I let her, but surprised I had any floorboard left in the car from all the braking I was doing on the passenger side, not to mention pulling my hair out!

I'm sure Jr Brew will be a  very good driver though.  8-)

But now he wants to drive ALL THE TIME!!!

Yea now he does. But once he gets his license and you want him to go to the store .... the "new" will wear off!

I'm currently on my third go around with a permit driver.  It has been much easier this time around......I've only screamed out loud a couple times so far.  :o

I am SO glad I only have one child.

This is the first one I have been brave enough to let drive with me as a passanger on a daily basis.  I'm getting braver with age.

He earns just fine!  He recently celebrated one year at his coffee shop job.  How many 16/17 year olds stay in a job for a year?
