As some of you are aware, Darryl had surgery today (hernia). We just got home a little while ago, he is in a world of hurt and we're trying to get settled in.

I'm sorry for not msging some of you individually as I said I would, but this is a little bit easier right now.

I did not know about the surgery, but glad everything went OK and hope he mends right quick!

Thank you Melly. Its been a long day. Thankfully, the surgery went well and the hernia repaired.

Now its the long road to wellness.

Hope he feels better and Dennis is right. Hernia shouldn't be too painful in a couple of days. Had two so far.

Thanks, I'll be sure and pass along your messages. The doc says he should be back to normal (we're talking Darryl here so keep that in perspective) in 2-3 weeks.

yeah Charlotte.. we got the snow yesterday, but thank god no ice this week! I couldnt have dealt with that TWICE lol

'Cept, once he realizes that, it's gonna take him longer to recuperate - he ain't gonna wanna go back to work.

Had the old double hernia done a few years back. Not fun! Worst part is the pain meds cause constipation so keep the MOM handy (of course getting up and down from the throne is a challenge all in itself).

Hoping he heals quickly.
