Thanks for the well wishes everyone, it's much appreciated. I always try to just let this one sneak by everyone hehe. Something about having hit the big 4-0 last year that makes it hard to say this year is my 20th annual 21st birthday LOL.

Thanks again everyone, no special plans here, the kids are *still* out of school after Western NC got a 'snow storm' and we have a 1/4" of snow on the ground; then temps dropped to 20F with a -5F windchill - umm ok, whatever - so they closed school again Thurs. and last night they called to say there was still ice on some of the roads in the northern county so they closed the northern county schools again today! Soooo I told the kids I wanted my house cleaned for my b'day, and they are industriously working away at it today hehe.

Now I just have to get the neuro appt out of the way at 3:30 and maybe I can enjoy the rest of the day :)

Thanks again everyone, it was nice to have birthday wishes from so many!

Well it turned out to be a superb day; the kids cleaned my house for me, top to bottom, even sweeping and washing floors and vacuuming the whole house. That's the kinda b'day present I LOVE! Andrea even went all out and took out some chicken breasts and made dinner for her and the boys, bbq chicken, and all the fixins.

Then Chris had told me about a German restaurant in S. Asheville, so Clark took me out for German food - OMG it was just like being back in Germany sitting at a little corner cafe called Mickeys - the food was amazing! Thank you so much Chris, for telling us about it. You were right, it is authentic German! And they even have Kristal Weiss right on the menu!!
