Title: Ok, we are back home
Post by Jimi on Feb 6th, 2009 at 9:57am
Jayne kicked us out so we had to come back. We got our power back yesterday and drove on in.

Unfortunetely we have no TV, no internet and no phone service because we have all 3 bundled in a package with Newwavecomm.net and they are down. (They use telephone poles too) I went to their office and they say possibly a week.

My pc is down of course but my laptop is on wireless and occasionally I can pick up someone elses signal (weak though it is) and get on the internet. So I won't be around much for the next week but we are all doing fine.

PS to Pat......Jayne did not know the comedian....sorry.

Does that mean we can talk about you for a week and then delete the posts before you get back? :D

A similar disaster with a wind storm from Hurricane Ike allowed my family to become close to some needy teens and 20 somethings.  Be aware that your neighbors might need some help keeping going.

Glad to hear that you're alive and well!

Jayne and wonderful has always seemed the same thought, hard to think any gooder of you.  :)   :-*
It's been occasioned though she sways blurring thoughts of her with just puzzling wonder, full of strangely crazy.   ;)

Jimi, glad the basics are back home for you once again.  Recovery and healing for an emotionally changed community is a remembered time with life and well-being so threatened.

Time may reveal some missing businesses also, unable to endure the downtime loss.

Great news! My phone just rung! I checked the TV....ON! Checked the internet....ON! at least for now.

Now I gotta go outside and see if the task of getting the tree limbs gathered and piled and trimmed or if I may need a professional.

Anyway, I am glad to be back!

Hey, careful, remember tree limbs are very heavy sob's.  But don't do like I do -- let them lie there for about three years until they shrivel and shrink and become more managable.  ;)

I am so relieved that everythiing is o.k. and you're home.

Now which one of the 3 of you will be in need of extensive therapy due to being in close quarters with Jayne for so long?   ;)

I have this vision of all the bonfires of broken tree limbs in KY that can now be seen from space . . . . .

Glad to hear you're back in the 21st century.  Kids and grandkids back up and running, too?

The way I see it, the physical clean up of the mess is minor and secondary to the emotional trauma of being locked in such tight quarters with the infamous Jayne ...

I see MANY years of therapy ahead ...

Glad to hear that the two of you escaped the lockup with at least some sort of sensibility left ... (or at least I hope you do) ...

1) Ruthie....where's my dinner?????
2) Ruthie....why isn't my kettle boiling on my arrival home anymore
3) Jimi...why does my living toom furniture remain stationary since you've been gone
4) Ruthie...the kitchen sink is full of pots.
5) Jimi...why can I not hear your whining voice from the other room about some minor thing you can't figure out? (Yet again)

I miss you both.....:-)

I LOVE MA RUTHIE............
