My Padres are tied for first, we may have the finest pitching staff in baseball..(assuming all 6 surgically repaired old guys return to their all star form of 10 years ago)...we may have the best infield in baseball...(if all the part time players we picked up to replace the high priced all stars during the salary dump turn into super stars)....and a new owner...(gradually assuming ownership over the next 3 years)....sigh....it's gonna be the 70's all over again.

But for now....we're tied for first!!!!
