Just heard that about 600 of my corporate co-workers on the east coast came to work this morning only to be layed off and walked out the door.

Nice day for that little parting gift.

Friday the 13th have always been good to Ted and I since that is the day we met on. 13 has become our lucky number. We got married on the 13th, parked on 13th street when we were teenagers, used to live in apartment number 13, the twins were supposed to be born on Nov. 13 but came a day early. (They were confused)

One good thing is that my old 2004 calendar has been working again. Talk about cheap! It was a leap year though so starting March, no good. :o 8-)

It's a VERY good day. Just submitted my CalPERS retirement application this morning. In 3 months and 2 days I'll be voluntarily unemployed!

We also got married on the 13th, that was 26 years ago for us!
