6 philadelphia police officers killed in 16 months. Just a couple hours ago, a 24 yr old cop just married with a baby on the way was shot and killed by some scum of the earth cab driver.

Sounds familar ....Mumia Abu Jamal, another scum of the earth cab driver who murdered a cop

My respect to all of you who risk your lives for others. What kind of world is this any more?

Thanks for allowing me to rant. I am disgusted at this city any more.

Gotta agree with you, Kev. I was born in Philly and after we moved, I loved to go back to visit my family who still lived there. The city has such great history with so much to offer but thanks to a few who have no conscience or value of a human life, it is slowly circling the toilet bowl.

My heart breaks for the police and the families who have lost their brothers/sister in the line of duty. The last officer, John Pawlowski was only 25 years old with a wife who is 2 months pregnant. :'(
