I know, I know.  I'm probably one of the few that really enjoys this day.  28 year of marriage to the perfect woman for me makes this very easy.  

For us, it's a day about our romance and a love that grows deeper and more meaningful each year.

I wish everyone could find someone who means that much to them.  It puts everything else into perspective and makes very hard thing so much easier.  You know, no matter what, you aren't alone.

So what is everyone doing this year?

Andrea and I are headed to a suite at the Atkinson Country Club and dinner at their 4 star restaurant.  This is something we haven't done for a very long time.  The last time was 1996 and a night at the Ritz Carlton on Boston.  

The best part, Aidan is babysitting.  Yes, things are going that well.

we are enjoying the day, making a Flan and cooking some rib eyes for a nice lunch only the 3 of us, because our Valentine's would not be complete without our little princess   :).

I am glad things are looking up for you and I am happy to hear you and your wife are celebrating this day too.

Not too much happening here. Angie wanted me to take her somewhere really expensive so I am taking her to a gas station LOL ;D

Actually, to a very nice eatery for lunch then back here to watch Nascar and some tailgate partying. It does not get any better than that! [smiley=me&mb.gif]

We're at friends in NW Wisconsin enjoying friendship and feasting and fun.

I took a walk and took cards to my friends. Then I had dinner (home made pizza) with mom and I plan to relax the rest of the evening and watch I've Got News For You and eat tortilla chips, my faves. ;)

We have never really 'done' Valentine's (no cards or anything). Especially as last year, we got engaged on the weekend before and now we are only 19 days away from our wedding day. But my other half has bought me flowers at least once a month since we've been together (6 years now!), so I don't miss out on romance the rest of the year!!

But we did go out for a 3 hour walk with the dogs and have a little picnic with a salad and some juice on a cliff-side bench. Then home to a little bit of housework, a movie and a seafood casserole.

Dennis - seems to me you and Andrea had lots to celebrate yesterday and the night away was well deserved. I hope my upcoming marriage is half as successful and as strong as yours is. Still sending lots of vibes to Aidan too.
